Bioclear is a minimally invasive and cost-effective treatment that uses clear forms filled with a composite material that matches the shade of the tooth.

What is Bioclear Treatment?

Bioclear is a minimally invasive & cost effective treatment that utilizes clear forms filled with a composite material matched to the shade of your teeth. This special technique avoids the need for masking perfectly healthy enamel with traditional veneers.

The process involves removing the forms to leave behind smooth contoured composite that has a beautiful shine and is smooth to the touch. By seating the form just below the gum line, the teeth appear to emerge naturally. Furthermore, the tight contacts achieved with this system help hug the papilla (the gum in-between the teeth) back into place, revealing a healthy and youthful smile

How We Implement
the System

The Bioclear system is used to address several common aesthetic issues, including:

  • Black Triangle Closures: Closing open gingival embrasures caused by bone loss or gum recession.

  • Diastema Closures: Closing the vertical gap in-between two teeth.

  • Peg Laterals: Building up undersized laterals where the tooth has not grown to its full capacity, achieving an aesthetically symmetrical smile.

Before After
Aesthetic Problems that
Bioclear Treatment Solves
Black
Triangles

30% of adults have black triangles, clinically known as open gingival embrasures. This issue is often caused by bone loss and gum line recession. Dark spaces between the teeth can make the smile look old and are prone to accumulating food debris and plaque. Using the Bioclear system, your dentist can close these gaps, improving the integrity of the gum and revealing a healthy and youthful smile.

Diastemas &
Peg Laterals

The Bioclear treatment is perfect for closing diastemas (the vertical gap in-between two teeth). It transforms the smile with a very natural finish, even though many choose to keep this charming gap. Additionally, Bioclear addresses undersized laterals or peg laterals. These teeth have not grown to their full capacity, causing an uneven smile line. The system builds up these teeth to reveal an aesthetically symmetrical smile.

How We Proceed
1
Gap Sizing

We determine the size and curvature of the appropriate matrix using the BT Gauge and color guidelines.

2
Disclose and Clean

We use Bioclear Dual Color Disclosing Solution. Then, clean or irrigate until all biofilm is removed.

3
Contact Optimization

We use the blue, orange, and red TruContact Saws and Sanders, in order, to clean and manage contact tension.

4
Matrix Insertion

We insert the appropriate paired matrices.

5
Etch and Rinse

Brush your entire tooth for 20 seconds, rinse, and dry.

BT Matrices Can be Used
for the Following Procedures:
1
Diastema Closures

We discuss your wishes on the color and select the placement method (on the tooth root or implant).

2
Peg Laterals

We solve problems identified during diagnosis (correction of bite, treatment of dental diseases). We perform a complete debridement of the oral cavity and preparation or trimming of dentine tissues for crowns. We place implants according to the indications.

3
Bioclear 360° Veneers

We check the position and bite on the temporary crown. After fitting, we fix the permanent denture to the tooth or implant abutment.

4
Black Triangle Closures

We schedule a preventive checkup every 2 weeks after prosthetics. This is a mandatory stage of treatment for crown correction at bite stabilization.
